Founded in 1976 by a group of friends who wanted to make a difference in the Hawke’s Bay community the Hastings Karamu Rotary Club is more than a club, they are a family. The Club reflects the vision of Rotary founder Paul Harris in fostering the spirit of both individuals and groups to reach out in service to help others less fortunate in the community.
Since 2004, the club has hosted the Hastings Karamu Rotary Club Charity Golf Tournament, raising funds for Cranford Hospice. This is one of our popular annual events, and a big thank you goes to the Club for leading this fantastic day out on the course.
