Go Orange

We’re challenging Hawke’s Bay to Go Orange for the month of April! When you Go Orange know you’re helping us to continue caring and giving more precious time to families like Derick and Chrisinda’s. Accept our challenge—Go Orange and help us raise $70,000 this April.

There are plenty of ways to Go Orange this April, we’ll also be out and about on the streets of Hawke’s Bay from Thursday 4 to Saturday 6 April collecting donations. You can also make a donation directly to our Go Orange appeal DONATE NOW.

Go Orange in the community

Have some fun, get your family and friends involved and see how much you can raise for Go Orange. Here’s a few ideas to get you started:

  • Feeling brave? Go bold, dye your hair orange or sky dive.
  • Got creative flair? Show off your skills with an arts and crafts sale or fancy-dress party.
  • Style guru? Get out your glad rags for a swap shop, fashion show or pamper night.
  • Burn some energy? Break a sweat with a cycle challenge, fun run or marathon.
  • Host with the most? Throw a cocktail evening, dance party or dinner party

Go Orange in schools

For a gold coin donation students can dress in mufti or wear orange. Or students can donate $3 or more in return for a Cranford jibbitz (shoe charm for your crocs).

Go Orange in your workplace

Get your workmates together and have some fun. Here’s a few ideas to get you started:

  • Get your team to dress in orange for a donation.
  • Host a Cranford coffee and cake morning for a donation.
  • Get physical and set a challenge—run, swim, skip!
  • Challenge your competitors or your clients—who can raise the most?
  • Hold a raffle or an auction.

A great incentive to get your workplace behind Go Orange is to get your company to match any funds raised by the team.

Go Orange in cafes

Cafes around Hawke’s Bay will be offering customers the option to purchase a Coffee for Cranford. Your normal coffee will cost an extra $3—that $3 will come to Cranford Hospice.

Tell us what you’re up to

We’re here to help—tell us what you’re planning and we’ll let you know how we can help to make your fundraiser a success. We can provide you with poster, logos, collection buckets and stickers. You can set up your own Raisely page to help encourage your friends and family to support you.
