Last month we celebrated one of our amazing doctors, Lynn Twigley, who has dedicated 25 years of service to our patients and their whānau. With her cheerful demeanour and ever-ready smile, Lynn has made huge contributions to the purpose and vision of Cranford over the years.
Lynn is passionate about Advance Care Planning – something we all need to think and talk about with family encompassing values and goals, and preferences for current and future healthcare, including end-of-life care. We are so proud of Lynn and her massive commitment. We know that we are very fortunate to have her as part of our amazing team. A word from Lynn:
“It’s been a privilege to work as a Cranford Hospice doctor! I have certainly seen a lot of change, and shared time with many amazing people along the way. There have been some very tough times and also lots of laughter and love. My job has allowed me to witness the most amazing human qualities: dignity, courage, selflessness and above all love. My patients have taught me lessons I try to remember in daily life – to take pleasure in the simple things, be thankful, think of others, let go of hurts, take risks.”
