Originally from the UK and educated at the University of London, Andrea has worked in the NZ health sector since 2002 as a project manager, strategic planner, evaluator and funder in the health and social services sectors. Along with governance positions, Andrea is currently an independent consultant.
Andrea has a keen interest in palliative care and had a relationship with Cranford Hospice for several years prior to joining the board, first as a funder at HBDHB and then as the Project Manager who assisted with the successful Service Design & Business Case Development as part of the Hospice Innovation Funding project.
Andrea joined the Cranford Trust Board in 2017, is a Director of the Heretaunga Building Society and past Director of DOVE Hawke’s Bay. Andrea and her husband Marcus Berry own a manufacturing business and are enjoying raising their two teenage sons in Hawke’s Bay.
