The difference you’re making in the lives of people being cared for by Hospice

I know that it can feel overwhelming when there are so many deserving causes. It’s easy to feel like we can’t make a difference in the lives of people who need our support.

But take heart. I can assure you that you are making a real difference in helping people right here in Hawke’s Bay. You are helping our families, whānau, friends, colleagues and neighbours receive the best possible care at the end of their lives. You are the reason that they can focus on making memories and experiences to cherish, to live every moment.

I hope reading Aroha encourages you as much as your generosity encourages our patients, families and whānau to live as well as they can for as long as they can. They are empowered with the knowledge that their support is provided at no cost to them, because of you.
