Te Wiki Tūao ā-Motu – National Volunteer Week
The end of June saw us celebrating National Volunteer Week, with this year’s theme being “Recognise. Connect. Reimagine”.
We are incredibly grateful for the support we receive from our amazing volunteers. From the volunteers in our retail stores and inpatient unit, through to those who run events, farm for hospice, or sit on a Board, each volunteer is a special part of the Cranford whānau. In recognition of these amazing people, we held several events over the week.
A well deserved drinks and nibbles evening was held at Cranford as well as each of our retail stores putting on a special morning tea or pizza night as a thank you for their much appreciated time. We can only do what we do with the support from our community.
If you would like to join the Cranford whānau, helping patients and their families, please ring Amanda, our Volunteer Coordinator on 068787047, or visit our Volunteers page.
