Farmers Hospice campaign
Farmers Hospice campaign
2020 is the 7th year that Farmers staff and customers will join together to raise funds, to keep hospice care free of charge in every community across Aotearoa.
There are two ways Napier and Hastings Farmers customers can support Cranford Hospice from 19 November until Christmas Eve–by donating to the Tree of Remembrance in Farmers stores or by purchasing a limited-edition hand painted hospice bauble, available instore and online.
From 19 November until Christmas Eve everyone who makes a donation to hospice whilst shopping in Farmers will receive a remembrance card. This card is an opportunity to write a special message for someone you’ll be thinking about this Christmas. Each Farmers has a dedicated Tree of Remembrance in store to display your message for friends and family and the community to see. The Tree of Remembrance is a way to honour those we think of and support hospice. As with the purchase of the limited edition baubles, 100% of everything donated remains within the community in which it was given, supporting the local hospice service.
The full $10 from every bauble purchased at the Napier and Hastings Farmers stores will be donated to Cranford Hospice. Farmers also passes on 100% of all customer donations to hospice from the Tree of Remembrance. This year’s bauble is Comfort by Hospice. Providing wrap around services, compassion and comfort, Hospice supports people to live every moment–to spend time with those they care about, in the places they love, bringing joy and creating memories that last forever.
2020 has been a challenging year for many with the impact of the global COVID 19 pandemic affecting us all. Many people have reflected on what is important, who matters most to them and how they want to live their lives going forward–something that people using hospice services and their families are encouraged to do, to seek comfort in one another as the end of life approaches.
