Livestock donation registration

Farming for Cranford Terms and Conditions

1. All livestock donated are to be free of any security interest and the donor indemnifies The Cranford Hospice Trust against any loss from any breach of this clause.
2. All livestock donated are one hundred percent owned by the donor, prior to any donation.
3. One hundred percent of the monetary value of any livestock consigned is a donation to The Cranford Hospice Trust, with no apportionment/offset.
4. All donations will be remitted to the legal entity that owns the livestock.
5. The donor confirms that they have the legal authority to consign animals for donation.
6. The donor must be fully NAIT compliant.
7. The donor warrants that livestock consigned for donation are tagged with NAIT compliant ear tags and the livestock are registered on the NAIT database, if applicable.
8. Cattle that are NOT being consigned direct to slaughter are to be TB free and from a TB free property.
9. The donor is responsible for the cartage cost for all livestock that are sold by auction or private treaty.
10. The donor warrants that all livestock are healthy and free from injury, disease, pests, and unwanted organisms as defined under the Biosecurity Act 1993. And that the livestock and any property on which the livestock have been depastured are not subject to any order or notice of direction (such as movement control order) made by any regulatory authority including the Ministry of Primary Industries.
10.1. The donor shall, at all times, comply with the provisions of the Biosecurity Act 1993 and any lawful notices and orders given or made by any regulatory authority in relation to the livestock; and
10.2. The donor shall indemnify The Cranford Hospice Trust against any loss or cost of any kind which we may suffer or incur as a result of their breach of Clause 10.1.
11. The donor warrants that the livestock consigned for donation are free from the withholding period of any drench or chemical application.
11.1. The donor indemnifies The Cranford Hospice Trust against any loss or cost of any kind, which we may suffer or incur as a result of their breach of Clause 11.
12. The donor warrants that all stock consigned for donation to The Cranford Hospice Trust are fit and healthy and comply with all animal codes and MPI directives.
12.1.The donor indemnifies The Cranford Hospice Trust against any loss arising from breach of Clause 12.
13.The donor warrants that there is nothing in the Farming for Cranford Terms and Conditions that will create any expectations on either party.
14. The donor warrants that by registering for Livestock Donation with The Cranford Hospice Trust they accept all of the Farming for Cranford Terms and Conditions.
