Registered Nurse
About the role
As a Registered Nurse at Cranford Hospice, you will provide expert symptom and pain management, as well as end-of-life care for individuals living with life-limiting illnesses. This role offers the opportunity to deepen your knowledge in specialist palliative care while working within a supportive multidisciplinary team environment.
- Location: InPatient Unit and community settings
- Schedule: Rotating shifts across seven days, including nights and weekends
What you’ll bring
- New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
- Extensive general nursing experience, with palliative care experience preferred.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development through the Professional Development and Recognition Programme (PDRP).
- Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
- Proficiency in digital patient management systems.
- Full, clean driver’s licence.
- Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its relevance to health equity.
- Empathy, integrity, and a passion for supporting patients and whānau.
