Your support made this year’s Street Appeal the largest we have on record!
Our Street Appeal is a highlight in the calendar during our Annual Appeal month. This year we had the highest amount of hours covered across locations across the Bay where our collectors were out rattling their buckets. Individuals, clubs, groups, schools, and organisations all came together for three days across Hawke’s Bay to help hospice. Hundreds volunteered their time from the 11 – 13th of March to don an orange apron and hold a bucket to raise funds for the people we care for.
We feel so incredibly lucky to have the support of our community. Thank you to those who gave generously, who gave us the change in their wallet, who took cash out at the till to donate on their way out of a store. Every donation truly does make a difference in the lives of the people we care for. This year we introduced EFTPOS machines to some of our collection sites and we were thrilled to see so many of you choosing to donate in this way.
You raised $31,637.80 in three days to help the people we care for, right here in Hawke’s Bay!
