Cranford Hospice are committed to helping people treasure every moment, which is just what happened for a grandmother seeing her granddaughter ‘walk down the aisle’. The mother of the bride, Yvonne, shared her story of the touching moment between her mother and her daughter.

“The staff helped my mother with a posy of flowers and makeup, flowers for the bride, and took family photos.

The support and care my mother Mary received from Cranford was of the highest standard and made a very difficult time easier for my mother and us. My daughter’s wedding was just days after my mother passed away, but the initiative and thoughtfulness of the staff meant that my mother saw her in her wedding dress at the hospice, which gave my mother some joy and was very special for all of us.

The staff helped my mother with a posy of flowers and makeup, flowers for the bride, and took family photos, and as a result we have these precious if very sad memories. The lovely staff, house, rooms and grounds made it possible to spend time with Mum in a comfort-able place where we felt at home.”
