Garden Volunteer

About the role

Our beautiful gardens are an important part of the Cranford Hospice experience, providing a peaceful and welcoming environment for patients, families and whānau, visitors, staff and volunteers.

As a Garden Volunteer, you’ll help maintain and enhance these special spaces while working alongside a friendly and dedicated team. You’ll assist with seasonal gardening tasks including weeding, mulching, edging, pruning, planting, raking, digging and general garden maintenance. You’ll also help care for garden beds and pathways, clean and maintain garden tools and equipment, and ensure everything is safely stored at the end of each session.

There are also opportunities to contribute ideas to the ongoing development of the hospice gardens.
