I greatly appreciate the remarkable mahi you are doing supporting Cranford Hospice. My sincere thanks for your generosity, your compassion, and your kindness. It is because of heroes like you that we can continue helping our patients treasure every moment. Ngā mihi nui – thank you so much!
In this Spring Aroha newsletter, you will discover more about the exciting progress happening out at Chesterhope, our new home for Cranford Hospice. Your support will help us build our new hospice for Hawkes Bay, securing our future of caring for more patients and their whānau. With Spring’s first blooms it is so lovely at Chesterhope and I’d love for you to come along to our October open day.
I am also excited to update you on some great community events, an exciting takeover of our Hospice Stores by the Hawke’s Bay Magpies, and invite you along to our Compassionate Friends coffee group.
It is with sadness that I am stepping down as CEO and this will be my final Aroha Newsletter. I have felt honoured and privileged to lead such an amazing organisation. The team of dedicated staff and volunteers are passionate and truly special people. The level of care, support and education that Cranford provides for the rohe (local area) can only be achieved with the support you provide year on year. I have found it to be a truly humbling experience.
