Cranford Hospice is an organisation that is focused on being leaders in the specialist field of palliative care and we are committed to providing person and whānau-centred care for the people in our community. We have an in-patient unit located in Hastings as well as a community outreach team, so the work is varied and offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients and their families and whānau.

What skills and experience will you bring?

  • Current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council as a registered nurse
  • A minimum of 1 year’s nursing experience
  • Flexibility to work permanent rostered shifts or be part of our casual pool
  • Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, assessment and communication skills
  • A desire to provide holistic and compassionate nursing care
  • Post Graduate Qualification in palliative care would be an advantage
  • Evidence of PDRP or commencement of this pathway
