At Cranford Hospice, we support patients and whānau during some challenging life experiences. We are a unique and rewarding place to work that offers a supportive, wellness focused environment. We pride ourselves on the friendly environment in our Hospice at Knight Street, Hastings and our household team play a vital role in providing quality, nutritious meals.
What skills and experience will you bring?
You will be sensitive, compassionate and able to communicate well to ensure patients receive the snacks and meals that they want. It goes without saying that you will be great with food and its presentation, be organised and motivated, able to work independently, understand the need for cleanliness and safety in the kitchen and act with integrity and confidentiality.
Ideally you will have a Food Handling Certificate and recent food handling experience, but don’t worry if you haven’t as we will offer full training to the right person. We are looking for someone to work alternate Saturday and Sunday, from 8.00am to 2.30pm. Additional hours and days will be available to cover staff leave, so some flexibility is preferred.
Permanent Part Time, Hourly rate $26.00 per hour
