We have casual roles available for Healthcare Assistants.

Cranford Hospice is an organisation that is focused on being leaders in the specialist field of palliative care and we are committed to providing person and whānau-centred care for the people in our community. We have an in-patient unit located in Hastings as well as a community outreach team, so the work is varied and offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients and their families/whānau.

What skills and experience will you bring?

  • NZQA NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 3 or 4 OR successful completion of at least 6 months of the Bachelor of Nursing degree
  • The ability to work under direction and delegation of a Registered Nurse
  • Great people skills with empathy
  • A love of learning
  • Flexible multitasking skills
  • A team player
